A leading physiatrist at Harvard learned of Leah Keller’s work and pilot study with Weil Cornell (AJOG, 2014) through a 2017 NPR profile and kicked off a clinical study of the Every Mother online exercise program in collaboration with the Hospital for Special Surgery, NYC. Research subjects reported a statistically significant decrease in stress urinary incontinence symptoms after 12 weeks, in addition to improving their diastasis recti and back pain. Continued participation yielded an even greater reduction in symptoms. The clinical trial is published in the Journal of Women's Health PT, October 2021.
